Where to have my baby due to corona ?

Hello mums✌🏼
I need some help I’m in a dilemma!
I was referred to have my baby at UCLH hospital after being diagnosed with Crohn’s disease earlier this year and spending a month in hospital as they specialise in pregnancy and crohns.
My crohns is stable, I inject myself with medication once every 2 weeks and it’s working wonders.
My dilemma is that with the corona virus travelling into London is not appealing atall, I live in Essex near Stansted airport so it’s quite a way and with no parking at the hospital it proves to be a nightmare! I have several appointments that I must attend before my birth in July, extra scans, specialist appointments etc etc.

My original care was at Harlow hospital who have all of my notes etc, booking in appt done and I can have my baby there which is only 15 mins from home.

Advise please!? Would you travel to London regularly where there are specialist or in these exceptional circumstances should I stick with my local hospital?

It’s so tricky isn’t it, I’m in Essex too and I’ve chosen St Thomas’ hospital in Westminster (hotbed of covid-19!).
So far I have missed my 16 week appointment and my consultant appointment (needed for previous c-section and IVF). The consultant wasn’t too worried about me having missed the appointments. For my 20 week scan I will still be avoiding St Thomas’ and I will go private and have it at my local baby bond. The consultant was satisfied this was all ok, and told me to go the GP to get my blood pressure checked.
I still feel most comfortable with St Thomas as I had my first child there so I intend to give birth there, in the hope that this crisis subsides by the summer.
UCLH is truly excellent- can you talk to a doctor or midwife there about what your options are? ALL my doctor friends (of which I have quite a few) have all chosen UCLH. Harlow is ok too though, however!
