Morning ladies I'm going to be 19 weeks tomorrow and I was just wondering if there are any of you at around the same stage? How are you feeling, have you felt any movement yet,do you have a bump, when are your 20 week scans? I'm feeling quite well actually still tired especially in the evenings but apart from that I feel normal and do have a little bump growing. I think I've been feeling movements now for a couple of weeks but they are quite hit and miss and are mainly just when I'm sat on the sofa at night or when I go to bed, is it anything to worry about if you don't feel baby everyday? I've got my scan next Friday and starting to get a bit anxious about it all especially due to probably having to go on my own due to what's happening at the moment, pregnancy is hard enough already and now having this to deal with aswell is such bad timing 😢

I am 21 weeks now ! My bump is small lol but have been feeling the baby :D been really tired and getting heart palpitations but getting through it wbu?

Melbs6 · 25/03/2020 12:03

I’m 1 day behind you so will be 19 weeks on Friday. I’ve been feeling movement which is wonderful and my bump is starting to come in now 💗

My local hospital has just posted that partners aren’t allowed to the scans. I understand that it’s totally necessary to not allow partners but I’m still absolutely gutted. We didn’t book an early gender scan because we both wanted to wait until 20 weeks to get really excited. You also don’t get signal in the hospital and the WiFi is basically non existent so won’t be able to video call either 😔

Lucyabraham87 · 25/03/2020 12:29

I am 19 + 3 today, bump is slowly starting to grow now, still pretty small though. I feel fine in myself now, other than waking at night for numerous wees! I had my anomaly scan yesterday, I had to go on my own due to no partners allowed, and I have a fear of scans now because of previous miscarriages (one at 17 weeks) but everyone there was lovely and all was OK. Obviously no photos allowed in the room, and so I paid for 3 photos for my partner to see. We already knew gender because of nipt tests so there wasn't that to think about.

FeelingBeautiful · 25/03/2020 12:33

meeeeeeeeeeeeee! i am 21 weeks, have a bit of a bump and feel quite tired still. feeling movement since 15 weeks. bubs moving now as i type. i don't feel it all the time and some days more than others. i am an older mum to be and am scanned regularly and baby fine. i bet you are fine too Smile Flowers

Billyandemily · 25/03/2020 17:51

I'm nearly 20 weeks I think my bump is pretty big already. Have my scan next Tuesday im sad my husband cant come with me though. Have been feeling proper kicks for a couple of weeks now.

Murree · 25/03/2020 18:06

Hi, I'm 19 weeks 1 day now. I have quite a small torso so am showing quite a bit now! Been feeling bubs for a few weeks now but mostly when I'm chilling on the sofa or in bed as other have said.
Got my 20 week scan next week - absolutely gutted OH can't come. We booked a private gender scan but have cancelled that as they banned partners from that one too!
Guess I have to put my big girl pants on and go it alone Sad

Everest1 · 25/03/2020 18:21

Im 20 weeks today i have my scan tomorrow. Ive called my hospital and they have said we can take one person. Might be worth calling your hospital as they all have different rules. Ive been getting popping feelings x

WorriedButterfly · 25/03/2020 19:24

I will be 19 weeks on Friday, it has started to slow down again whilst waiting for my 20wk scan, which is on 6th April. I feel ok, tired mainly, bit of heartburn. Bump is slowly getting bigger x

WeeScottishWife · 25/03/2020 20:52

I'm 21+5 now, so slightly ahead, but who knows how that will translate to when baby actually arrives!
If you're interested, there's a thread called '5 weeks pregnant' which is mostly people with June/July/August due dates, as it was started a few months ago.

reginaphalange101 · 25/03/2020 22:22

Hi OP, we must have really close due datesGrin I'm 19 weeks on Friday and haven't felt any obvious movements yet, a couple of pops here and there but could just be wind lol. Kind of wish the movements would start soon so I know she's ok in there, feeling a bit guilty for the stress I've felt over the last couple of weeks so just need some reassurance. Have my 20 week scan on the 7th April and worried I'll have to go alone, hopefully OH can come with me. Have an ever changing bump which often doubles in size after eating Grin

BabyB19 · 25/03/2020 22:29

Hi guys, I'm 19 weeks Sunday and have my 20 week scan on the 7th April also. I've had three scans already due to anxiety after MMC but all well so far, I've been very crampy this week and have a lot of pulling/stretching feelings but not much in the way of pops etc (I have an anterior placenta though so I know it could be later for proper kicks) I went for my daily exercise today and waited in the park area where it was quiet while my partner went in the shop and I nearly fainted and had to lay down on the floor on my own. It would have been embarrassing had it not been so quiet due to lock down! 😭🤣

2020Aug · 26/03/2020 05:33

Hi OP, I was 20 weeks yesterday and had my scan, husband wasnt able to come but all was well so we were happy. We are not finding out the sex so fortunately didn't have that dilemma.
Been feeling kicks for a couple of weeks, mostly at the side and low down but found out yesterday I have an anterior placenta so not surprising. I have a bump, I think quite big but the sonographer said it was a little neat bump!
Not sleeping well with everything going on so tired, but otherwise ok.
Good luck to those who have scans coming up.

CherryCreme · 26/03/2020 06:37

Hey! I'm 20 weeks on Saturday and have my scan next Wednesday, don't think my partner can come but we had an early sexing scan so he doesn't mind too much, quite scared of being in a hospital with all this going on though so hoping it's blown over by time baby is due! I feel the best I've felt but have had such a good pregnancy anyway so far, it's a shame about all the added stress and uncertainty! All the kicks are keeping me going...

Anyone else worried about their SMP being effected if they're out of work due to Covid19?

Grainedesesame · 26/03/2020 07:24

I'm 21+4 today. My bump is definitely showing and baby is kicking a lot, which I love. It's my first and she is a girl. Pregnancy has been rough with lots of nausea, still happening but loving the experience overall.

I had my 20 weeks scan a couple weeks ago and feel incredibly sorry for those who's partner are not allowed.

Thinking about all those women around the world that are due anytime now and not allowed a companion. That's really tough.

Are you all due late July/ early August?

samjacklogi88 · 26/03/2020 07:31

I'm
Almost 22 weeks second baby and I slowly
Feeling more kicks but it still very limited hopefully will increase as the pregnancy progresses other then that I don't have any symptoms I
Do have quite a big bump but they say you grow quicker on second and more children

Congratulations x

MeganMama28 · 26/03/2020 07:48

Half way there sounds surreal but amazing!
I'm 21 weeks today with our first. We had a scan at 16 weeks and found out that we're having a little boy!

I definitely have a bump but some days it's bigger than others. Also tends to be bigger in the evening I think?! Feeling kicks in the morning and evening (he likes to have a kick about when I'm sleepy!)

We have our 20 week scan on Monday and, as it stands, my partner can come.

@Grainedesesame I'm due 6th August 💕

Bellsx · 26/03/2020 09:11

Ah lovely to hear from you all ladies. Today I am 19 weeks and we have our 20 week scan next Friday (3rd April) and my due date is 20.08.20. We had a few early scans due to recurrent miscarriage and our last one was at 17+5 weeks which my husband did come to and we were also told we're having a boy, was so nice seeing baby again on that screen 💙
It's nice to hear that most of you are feeling and doing well especially considering the circumstances at the moment but we can get through this and hopefully we will be able to have time when this is all over to enjoy some shopping trips to choose all those lovely and exciting things for our babies before we are due to give birth 🙏Have many of you already started buying?
Who is finding out what their having?

GemSmith738 · 26/03/2020 09:24

I'm exactly the same as you! 19 weeks today, 20 week scan on 3rd April, due date 20.08.2020! We want to find out gender so as I will be alone at the scan, I will ask if they can write it down so we can find out together. Not sure if they will though! Hope your all ok 💕

AuntVictoria · 26/03/2020 09:30

I'm also exactly the same, 19 weeks today and 20 week scan next Friday 🙂 this is my second baby (I have a 21 month old DS) and already know that we're having a girl this time. My bump is huge! Much bigger than this point last time, and I've been feeling her move round a lot more this week. Not long now til we meet our babies! Hope everyone is well.

Murree · 26/03/2020 16:30

So my hospital has just released the latest visiting guidelines - and for 12, 20 and fetal growth scans, one partner can come! Everything else is mum only.

So happy and praying they don't tighten down again in the next week so OH can come to the scan with me.

Worth checking with the hospital before you go!

Bellsx · 26/03/2020 19:05

I emailed mine today regarding this and they say I am to go on my own 😢

OP posts:
BabyB19 · 26/03/2020 20:45

It's going to be rubbish @Bellsx but I'm going to ask if I can record it, they don't usually let you but under the circumstances I don't think they will mind surely?! Xx

Bellsx · 26/03/2020 21:10

@BabyB19 I asked that when I emailed my hospital and she said you can take pictures but no videos, so gutting 😢
