Macclesfield Hospital: Maternity Ward?

Hello, I’m new on here and may stick around for some help over the coming weeks!

Our baby is due start of July - we are all set to go with Macclesfield as our hospital - as so far, we’ve found them good. But a family member said they’d heard bad things in the media - which I can’t really find evidence of - but in any case, I’m nervous and want to hear if anyone has any recent experiences of giving birth and / or C - Sections at Macclesfield...

Any help / tips / reports are massively appreciated. Thank you and wishing everyone the best at this hard time!

Sorry, I shouldn’t have put ‘maternity ward’ - I meant Labour Ward!

Hey!
I haven't unfortunately got any answers for you but would like to join this thread as I am moving to Newcastle under lyme in a couple days and my partners family live in Macclesfield! Looks like the hospital choice Iv got are stoke or Macclesfield!
I am due mid July with my first and literally know nothing about the area let alone where I am giving birth!
I actually googled Macclesfield maternity services the other day and couldn't find anything bad about it!

Ah, similar timing to us!

Macclesfield hospital seems good and they were top 4 in the country a couple of years ago. So my fear have been put to rest somewhat. The hospital is quieter than many - a little tired in places but nice overall.
