21 weeks strong kicks

This is my first pregnancy so struggling to know if this is normal. I've been feeling the baby move continuously now for 1 hour straight. I just wondered if this was normal or she could be distressed?

They are not just flutters, I'm talking big kicks and rolls that are continuously making me jump out my skin. I know that this is the time where the babies movements become stronger but this feels so strange!

I'm 21 weeks and was feeling alot of pressure on my tummy got worried called midwife who said it's just the baby moving and nothing to worry about. As we're only 21 weeks the baby movements are irregular so we are advised to use the next few weeks to monitor the baby movements so we get to know our babies patterns etc.

Do they feel like a pressured roll?

Beau2020 · 24/03/2020 19:29

@kaxxz yes sort of just feels like twitches but today it's been constant! I've tried exercising lightly because I was I've literally been bed bound for majority of my pregnancy but she's still kicking lots.
Maybe it's just a sign of healthy baby with lots of movement and nothing to worry about!

@beau2020 don't ever worry about an active baby! It's when their movements lessen or stop I'd be worried! I'm 34 weeks and my baby has been so active since 18 weeks and I have an anterior placenta! Sounds like you have one healthy baby in there :)

@Emmaaa1990 thank you that's made me feel better x

I am 21 weeks too and the babys kicks have definitely gone stronger it's just the fact they are getting bigger nothing to worry about I would say
