Transverse babies

I am almost 34 weeks with DC2 who was transverse at my last MW appointment. I think it still is as I'm getting kicks in my side, particularly at night.
DC1 was head down from about 28 weeks so this is new to me.
Has anyone else had experience of transverse babies and when did they turn/what was the outcome? I've researched ECV and it sounds quite horrible 😬

My baby was transverse but nobody realised until I was being asked to push!
They thought an emergency caesarean was on the cards but managed to get him out with forceps.

My baby was transverse until about 37 weeks then suddenly flipped head down. Mind you, I’m now 41 weeks and making for him / her to make an appearance so he / she obviously wasn’t in a hurry to do anything

@Liverbird77 but I thought that the head or bum had to be pressing on your cervix to dilate?? How were they transverse until pushing?? 😲😬

@ShirleyPhallus hope they put in an appearance for you pronto!

I've got no idea! It is all a blur. The doctor acted really quickly when he realised. Prior to that, the midwife had had me pushing for an hour!
