22 weeks pregnant, woken up with cheat pain

Hi all, I'm 22 weeks pregnant, all going well so far.
I've woken up this morning with a weird pain just to the left of the centre of my chest. It hurts when I take a deep breath, when I bend over and when I move my left arm around.
If I sit perfectly still, I can't feel anything.

The area where the pain is, is very central to that area and I have no pain anywhere else.
I feel normal, no fever, no unwell feeling.

I've text my midwife but not had a reply yet.

My blood pressure has been a little high throughout the pregnancy but midwives always say it's not too much of a concern?

Any ideas? I really don't want to go hospital (or out at all for that matter) and hoping it will resolve on its own with rest.

Have you got a triage you could call to ask rather than wait on the midwife?

LittleBoyJuly2020 · 24/03/2020 10:27

@Raindancer411 Yes rang twice but nobody is answering Sad

I have had some chest aches and was told it can be the muscles in your chest from weight is breasts pulling. Are you getting any other symptoms like shortness of breath when it happens?

LittleBoyJuly2020 · 24/03/2020 11:03

@Raindancer411 No I feel fine, just a sharp pain when I bend forward, move my arm around or take a really deep breath. I was fine last night.

Thanks for the replies I really appreciate it!

I have the same pain in the left side of my lungs.. I'm still at the hospital now and been here for 2 days now while they continue to do scans and tests. Mine started on Friday and progressed yesterday to coughing blood but it was minimal and only happened once. Otherwise I'm pretty well in myself

LittleBoyJuly2020 · 24/03/2020 12:40

@b0nnieN That sounds awful bless you Shock ...The pain I'm having only happens when I move, specifically bending forward or stretching/laughing/deep breaths. I'm going to see how it is tomorrow, if it's still there I guess I'll have to get it checked out.

I just really really don't want to go anywhere right now Sad

I’m sure it’s nothing to worry about but you could always ring 111 anyway just to get their opinion you can fill out a form online as well and they will call you back if easier x
