Consultant Appointment

I'm 27 weeks pregnant and due to have an appointment with the consultant tomorrow.

I have had a message to say the appointment is going ahead, but please wait in the car until called in etc. It also said to come alone.

I've got my 8 year old at home with me.

Not sure which rule to break here...

  • do I send my DD to a relative for a couple of hours.... or...
  • do I take her to the appointment with me?

I'm going to end up doing the wrong thing either way aren't I?

Give the hospital a ring if they refuse point blank you may have to leave with family x

Defo phone. No point in taking her and they turn you around in the car park and send you away. Likewise no point in worrying if they say single mums can bring a child.

I know dads are not welcomed. And make sure you have phone signal where you park!

I have been told by hospital no children under any circumstances so I would leave with relatives x
