Baby has hiccups all the time!

I’m 31 weeks and the baby seems to have hiccups all the time! As in, 4-5 times a day! Is this normal??

I called the midwife a couple of weeks ago about it and they said it’s fine but when you do the dreaded google, some stuff comes up.

I can’t remember this with my other two but last one was 12 years ago!

Mine did that too, and I did the same scary google. I decided not to worry (easier said than done...) but to be ultra alert for things like reduced movement.

She's now 3 months, and still hiccoughs most days. It's now quite cute!

Mine DS was the same and continued hiccuping regularly the first few months after he was born. He's about to turn one and he's fine.

I had one of those too. Always hiccuping and would often wake me up with it. So sweet!

Dd1 had hiccups in vitro and was born with them, she'd have them so much as a baby.
She also had reflux and projectile vomit a whole feed of we weren't careful.

It went away as she grew but I can't remember when.

Frequent hiccups here too. DS is now 7 months and still has them quite often. The cutest ones are when he's asleep.

Yep, all the time. She’s 6 days old now, still hiccups all the time!

Hiccups when pregnant as well here. She did carry on after she was born but she also had the most horrific silent reflux that is only just settling down at the age of 3.

Yep! Me too! All the time in the bump and continued when she came out 😂

ds2 hiccoughed all the time when I was pregnant. I'm not sure he's ever hi coughed since. He's now 21 so it clearly did him.no harm.
