Hey I'm currently 4 weeks pregnant no sign of bleeding or cramping down below in fact I feel fine within myself but I've just had a few aches in my right shoulder/neck tip and the upper front, as anyone else had this before in pregnancy and all ok? Does it sound like ectopic? Thanks x

Also can anyone tell me what the pain should feel like

I've had two ruptured ectopics....no it doesn't sound like an ectopic

Shoulder tip pain is literally the last pain you get - as it's caused by blood filling the stomach cavity up to the diaphragm - trust me you WILL know about it WAY before it gets to this point as the rupture pain is unbearable

More likely you've just slept funny on a muscle

I felt this too OP but fortunately mine is not ectopic. I think you read so much in the early few weeks and it’s such a worrying time that your brain starts to play tricks on you. I wouldn’t worry unless you get other signs like pain or bleeding.

I'm around 3 weeks. I'm thinking mines a possible ectopic. Been cramping and feeling faint for 4 days now. Mostly at night. I'm booked into the early pregnancy unit in two weeks to find out. Trying to stay positive x

Thank you for putting me a little bit at ease about it all xx

@pinkhan135
Ectopics really are very rare (despite me having had 2) and so very unlikely

Cramping and feeling faint is a normal pregnancy system and I would think twice about requesting reassurance scans at this time when the NHS is under massive strain

Ectopic pain is like nothing you will have ever felt - like literally writhing in bed - can't walk pain. It's not cramping

Thank you... you’ve put my mind at rest.
I’m a type 1 diabetic so when I spoke to them over the phone yesterday informing them of my symptoms they were keen to see me. Hopefully all is ok!
Cramps come and go, they last around half an hour. Worst at night!
I’ve worked it out that I should be around 3 nearly 4 weeks pregnant, done a test yesterday that said 1-2 weeks. Just don’t know! Will keep positive. Thanks again x

Is the 3-4 weeks from the date your last period started? The 1-2 weeks on the test is from the date of conception which, if your cycle is regular, will be about 2 weeks after the date your last period started.
