I'm 38 weeks and have thrush but can't get a prescription for the pessary until Wednesday 😩 can thrush cause any issues late pregnancy or bring on labour etc?

Not sure if I can be any help but I've had the most annoying case of thrush throughout my whole pregnancy (40 weeks😢) and even when treated, it comes back. Midwives have never expressed concern about it to me, I visited triage recently thinking waters broke but was just thrush. They said it's normal and nothing to worry about, so you're most likely fine.

It’s miserable, I had it too a few days before I went into labour but I was at term. Try not to worry about it. Do you have any sudocreme in yet? My midwife advised i used that externally to help, because I couldn’t get a docs appointment at the time.

I am 39+6 weeks pregnant, due tomorrow and have been having thrush a lot in the last weeks of pregnancy. I would treat and after a bit of intimacy, it would just come back. So stopped getting frisky. The good thing as far as I know, i was told by the midwife, thrush doesn't affect baby or poses no risk in pregnancy. Just needs to be treated. Hope u get treatment soon.

No it shouldn't cause issues. I also had it late pregnancy.
