how long did it take for your faint bfp to get darker??

so af was late and i thought yayyy its finally happening im having a bambino but i started spotting which resulted in a 3 day bleed but only needing 3 pads (it was really light) a couple of days later i tested and got a very faint bfp that was last wednesday, anyway since then the lines haven't got any darker i guess on a plus they haven't got any lighter either, i had a mc last june and im hoping this pregnancy sticks but am really worried because the lines aren't getting darker, i know i should wait to test but i just can't ugh!! so does anyone have any encouraging stories where tests did not get darker but you went on to have a healthy pregnancy :)

Mine was darker after 24 hours, and definite obvious difference over 48 hours. Photos attached x

This was the difference in mine 3 days apart.
But any line is a positive so congratulations!!

For me it was about a week from a squinter of an is it or isnt it there kind of line to a blazing positive. Testing from when I thought my af was due. Dating scan put me as 6 days earlier than I thought so those early squinters when I thought I was due made sense.

Hcg doubles every 48hrs so you’d expect to see a darker line after that time. In the early days when overall levels are still low can take a while to see a good difference but if your period is late you’d probably expect to see a clear positive by now. Do you know when you ovulated?

These were mine over 5 days. They were definitely darker quite obviously every day, even on one step cheap tests x
