I'm currently 18 weeks and have aches and twinges under my belly got a feeling this is muscles or my ligaments? Some one put my mind at ease? Absolutely anxious as anything with everything that's happening at the minute..

Omg I had thr same yesterday I am 21 weeks and was worrying so much however they did ease and I spoke to the midwife and she said its normal just things stretching as the baby gets bigger

Its normal. Try a belly band which helps to support your belly and takes some weight off your muscles. I was always very large bumped and suffered with this alot. Try to avoid standing for long periods and be aware of your posture. Xx

It might be pelvic girdle pain. Mine started at 16 weeks and felt like a stitch.

I had this from about 13-17 weeks. Now 21 weeks and it's back today. Midwife said it's ligaments. X

Tell your midwife, if she thinks it is pelvic girdle pain she can refer to physio but the wait can be long in some areas (I had to wait about 7 weeks)
