Protien and Lucozydes

My midwife found Protien and Lucozydes in my unrine today at a regular checkup. I have to have an MSU test done to check things out, but I'm not sure what it means

Does anyone know what it means??

or your sample might have been contaminated with some discharge

protein only significant if in conjunction with raised BP, swelling and a there is a lot of protein

I have a UTI (urinary tract infection) and they found a trace of protein and level 2 whatzits. Imagine that is all that it is. UTI's are quite common in pg, I believe...

Thank you lulumama & Mumpbump, MW did mention someting about maybe taking some antibiotics. My BP is fine and I dont have any swelling other than the normal swelling on my feet. I really ought to ask her these questions while I'm there.
But always remember to as soon as I get out of the door!!!!

leucocytes and white blood cells. Yo make more of them when you have an infection.

Protien without leucocytes can meen you might be at rsik for pre-eclamsia (esp with a raised BP)

With leucocytes probably means you have a water infection, they will do a check to see.

Thanks MB, it's all these weird sounding words and abbreviations (sp?) that get me confused, but I suppose thats not to hard at the mo, what with baby brain and all
