Lower left abdominal pain 21 weeks pregnant freaking out!?!

Hi guys since an 1 hour I have shooting pains every 3 minutes in my left lower abdominal they are not really bad but are there please tell me its something you guys have experienced aswell please!? The baby has been moving normally

Round ligament pain? Used to bring me to my knees sometimes.

@gamerchick how long did it last for you? I think it could be that but havdnt had it yet so I am confused :(

It varies. If you Google it'll tell you what it feels like. I used to lie on my back, knees bent and move my knees from side to side. A support belt can help as well.

Yeah it's better today but got dull period pain did speak to midwife she said it's fine because your uterus is expanding so hopefully all good

I had this and phoned my maternity triage department. I was told it was nothing to worry about but to hand in a urine sample to have it checked to rule out UTI as the symptoms display different when pregnant. The pains went away a couple of hours later and results came back clear. If you are worried then phone your midwife for reassurance 😊
