Exercise whilst social distancing

Hi all, I’m 30 weeks pregnant and have been staying at home for the past week or so since the new advice for pregnant women was realised. However, I have been out each day for a walk just in my local area for 45 mins to an hour or so (that’s all I can manage!) just to keep active and benefit my mental health. Now I’m seeing loads of things on social media saying we shouldn’t be leaving the house at all? I was under the impression that it was fine as long as we adhere to social distancing rules? I haven’t been to any crowded/public places like parks etc. I’m worried that I’ve been careless and done the wrong thing, especially as I’ve been taking my 2 year old along too. Has anyone else still been going out for a bit of exercise?

Hi ya
I'm 27 weeks and today I went out to the local woods for a 2 hour walk I believe we are allowed out but social distancing, I've also only been to shops and hospital appointments then once home washing my hands. Even people over 70 have been told they can go for walks but must be distance themselves

I've also been going out for walks, a daily local 45m walk and a longer countryside romp at the weekend. I've been going for daily walks in the evening when there are less people anyway, and the countryside walk was a route I planned from a map so not a published/named walking route so saw 3 people pass us in over 2 hours.

Im 31 weeks pregnant & Iv still been going for walks and will continue unless the gov actually forbids it. Take my 2 stepchildren too to stop us all going stir crazy!
I have either being going routes I know we can keep a good distance from others, like over fields etc, or at night when there’s less people around. I am lucky to live in a fairly rural location. Exercise is good for our mental wellbeing, fingers crossed we can continue doing it.

I’m much earlier - only 10+4 but I’ve been going for daily walks, still feeling pretty exhausted in this first trimester but I need to do this for my mental health, I wasn’t under the impression that pregnant women should be self isolating, more social distancing so we can go out for walks

Ive been doing the same, im 20 weeks pregnant and trying to go out for a walk every day avoiding people at all costs. Im hoping we can continue to do this, i enjoy & need the physical activity. We always take the dog and our 7 year old to where it is quiet and hardly any one around.

The government website says it's ok to go for walks as long as you maintain safe distance of 2m.

Unfortunately a lot of people rather than reading government sources read social media posts only, hence confusion...
