Bleeding - 4/5 weeks pregnant

Hello ladies

I found out I was pregnant yesterday with a positive pregnancy test. That would make me 4 weeks 5 days pregnant today. When I went to the bathroom just now I wiped and had some dark brown blood on the tissue. No clots, but there was still blood when I kept wiping.

Is this common? Has anyone else had this?

Thanks

E x

Hi I've had pink/brown spotting for the last 2 weeks ( I'm 6 +1) I have an early scan booked tomorrow just to make sure all is ok. I remember having the same when I was pregnant with my daughter.
It's scary but doesn't always mean there's something wrong.

Thank you @Quail15

I hope tomorrow goes well for you x

I had spotting everyday from 4.5 weeks until 8 weeks. Mainly brown but some red at times. I had a couple of early scans and all was ok and I’m now 26 weeks. The dr never seemed bothered about it and said as long as it’s not filling a pad every couple of hours or accompanied by pain then not to worry. Easier said than done!

Thank you @Betsyboo87 definitely easier said than done but you have put my mind at ease. Congrats xxx

I have - when I was around the same as you, it turned from brown to bright red though with cramping- unfortunately it didn’t end well end I had an early miscarriage/chemical pregnancy.
Although this pregnancy - I had some spotting - very light at 6+6 weeks and everything seems fine so far (currently 10+4)
Fingers crossed everything is ok for you.
