I'm 38+2 and every night when I go to bed I wake up to baby right up in my ribs.. so high up up he's basically in my boobs! It's very painful and makes it even harder to get out of bed 😪 any suggestions on sleeping positions to stop him from doing this? I sleep on my left or right side normally with my preggo pillow to stop me going on my back. It's so painful and uncomfortable... starting to think he'll never stop down ☹️

I guess there isn't any other positions you can sleep while heavily pregnant, apart from sides.

I'm rolling over one side to the other each night, got used with it as I can't do anything about it.

You'll soon give birth and have your ribs back, it's probably more of a pain because baby has occupied all space possible in your tummy. Maybe when your baby drops lower in the pelvis you'll feel some more space near your ribs.

Could you try propping your head and chest up a little, while still on your side? Maybe gravity will encourage the baby to move down a little. It helps with heartburn anyway.
