I lost my Dad when 6 weeks pregnant - I'm now 10 weeks.
Just wondering if sadness / stressful times like this can affect the wellbeing of a baby or growing baby in the first trimester?

also with everything going on it's hard to focus on the important growing baby at the moment - oh and coronavirus! Any thoughts on how to focus on important things or what not to forget at this time - appreciated x

I am so sorry to hear about your Dad - what a difficult time for you.

Foetuses are pretty resilient - they take from you what they need. I know it is not possible to take away the stress of all this for you - but do make time for yourself - lie down with a relaxation track.

I have just lost my OH and I know that controlling feelings at a time like this is impossible - so do not try. Grief will out - and it happens differently for everyone. Just give yourself time and space to grieve - the baby will be fine. x
