What's the difference between flutters and kicks? Is it just the obvious , one feels like a kick one feels like a flutter? I'm new to all this.. also when does your pattern start to happen I'm 18 weeks and bren feeling flutters on and off for the past two weeks, was wondering when it is your pattern becomes regular ?x

They say you should have a daily pattern from 28 weeks, most people have one before then but that is when you have to let them know if it changes so they can check on baby.

kicks are kicks and flutters are just that, when baby gets bigger it will turn in to rolls and baby pushing out! Will all get more intense as baby grows...

I thought flutters felt like wind!

Im 40 weeks now and have never felt a real pattern.

My 'flutters' started around 18 weeks and felt more like muscle twitches. By the time I was 21 weeks they were like little nudges and now (27+4), they are definite kicks/punches.

As PP said, my midwife told me a pattern doesn't emerge until you're 27/28 weeks.

Just worried I think because the other day I felt hi wriggling around loads, but the past few days not felt him anywhere near as much x
