Weight loss first trimester but no morning sickness

Hi all! I'm a little bit worried. I'm 8 weeks and 5 days pregnant and seem to have lost just over a pound in weight.

It doesn't sound like much but I'm already really skinny and I can't shift a pound when I'm actually trying to, never mind now😂 my weight literally never moves.

I've also had no morning sickness so I'm not sure why I'd be losing it.

Anyone else had this?

I lost weight during my first trimester (not much, maybe 3 lbs), and didn't gain much until later in my second trimester. I also had absolutely zero morning sickness, no nausea, nothing (to my surprise, but thankful). So it was a bit odd - but my midwife assured me to just keep eating as normal, as everyone gains eventually in different pattens (and it eventually evened out).

I’m 10+2 and I’ve lost some weight too - although I’m starting to see a slight bump begin to form I am about a kg down on where I was a couple of weeks ago. It’s possibly because your resting heart rate can go up in pregnancy which means that your burning more calories even doing the same daily things hence you may lose a little weight. That’s my own theory anyway might be total nonsense!

I lost about half a stone during my first trimester, I'm usually a size 6-8 and 5ft 4 so pretty petite. I had nausea but was only sick now and again so was surprised.
I'm 19 weeks and still not back to my pre pregnancy weight. I have a bump and boobs up 2 sizes so can't believe I've put on no weight and been getting a little worried. Midwife didn't see worried at my 16 week appointment.
I'm usually very active so wondering if its loss of muscle as haven't been able to workout as much.

I lost a few pounds before 12 weeks too. Now have a healthy 11 year old. Do ring midwife if you're worried though. Congratulations on your happy news.
