I took a freedom test on Friday morning which the second line came up in the right time and it's pink, has anyone used these tests as I've read a lot online about them giving false positives and I'm worried now 😔

That definitely looks positive to me!

If you are worried you could try a first response test?

Good luck!

I used these before and got positives on a pack of 2 not with FMU. I used a CB Digi at the time too and that said not pregnant. My period then came exactly when it should have and as it should have. I did research after this and saw loads of reviews saying they'd had the same happen to them unfortunately.

Not saying that's happened to you here but I'd definitely do as FRER as PP said as they're really sensitive and not usually a let down. Good luck, hope it's good news for you!

I have only ever had the correct result with the Asda ones. Stark stark white when not pregnant and a pink line for both my BFP. I will say they are not as sensitive as some others so the line may be a little fainter if you have just missed your period or are testing early. Do you know when on your cycle you are? It looks positive to me xxx

Thank you so much for all your feedback, I just don’t want to get my hopes up if it’s negative and it’s just these tests giving me false hope. I tested on the 20th of March and I should be due on the 23rd of March, I have a clear blue test I was thinking of doing tomorrow which might give me a better answer but I’ve been trying for my second baby for a while since my Miscarriage last year so I’m hoping this is my rainbow baby 👶🏼 thank you ladies xx

This is how my freedom test looked in comparison to wilkos(up) and FRER.

I was a day late when I took them.

I would suggest a FRER.

I think I’ll pop to the shops and see if I can get a first response for me to take in the morning and fingers crossed 🤞🏼

Your story sounds similar to mine, I am sorry you went through it. I had miscarriage last year and found out on Thursday I am pregnant. My BFP was on a very old cheapy strip I had lying around I might add! Tested again this morning with Asda test (it’s the only supermarket near me) and it’s definitely a BFP. By all means test with another brand if it will make it better for you... I guarantee I have not peed on my last stick yet...! i truly hope it’s the result you are after xxx

I'm just worried by all the reviews online as I when I saw 2 lines I was so excited, my partner and my friend could see it which made me feel better but I'm scared of getting too excited if it's a false positive, I've never had a false positive before so now I'm worrying which probably doesn't help 😔 xxx

Came to comment that my first 3 positives were Asda freedom tests, confirmed by 2 clear blue digitals - now 19 weeks!

Best of luck with your pregnancy xx

Hi I could really do with some advice please, I to took one of these tests earlier today and within 4 minutes a second line appeared but it was the outline almost like it hadn’t been coloured in. Do you think this is a false negative? I can attach a photo but it’s very hard to catch it on camera but both me and my partner can see it in person x

Klwb93 · 15/08/2020 11:55

Hi @Mumof2tryingfor3 I would try another brand of test as mine was a positive but I read loads online about them giving false positives which was annoying, please attach the photo id like to see, hope you are all x

Please please do NOT!! buy these pregnancy test. I took the test came up as positive then I bought clear blue came up as negative very disappointing. Freedom test should be removed from the shelf.

Amandat1980 · 12/11/2021 17:43

I’ve done an Asda freedom hog pregnancy test the mid stream one and it’s saying positive but I’m worried it’s wrong as I’ve ready the reviews and it’s gave a lot of false positives
