Hi everyone. So I seem to be experiencing pregnancy insomnia in my third trimester. Awake from 1-3am most nights. Anyone else experiencing? If so when did it start? Tips?

Yes me too. 3am-5am for me.

Was the same in my first trimester too.
I find if the room is too hot I struggle to drift off again but it doesn't always help.
I'm trying to have sleeps during the day when I can, not going to be easy now the other DC are off school!

Only the last couple of nights! Im 29 weeks. I find I get up for a wee and then cant get back to sleep for a good couple of hours even though I'm shattered! Suppose a benefit of self isolating is being able to nap during the day!

I do try and just get up rather than toss and turn in bed. Sometimes a warm drink can help

Not sleeping well was actually something that occured before I even found out I was pregnant which was about 3-4 weeks so incredibly early for me and I haven't slept well since. I used to sleep wonderfully.... Ahh the good old days.
I'm 4 days overdue now and still wake up every few hours for the loo and I have horrendous heartburn that wakes me up too now.
I try listening to a YouTube video which is specifically calming music for insomnia. It doesn't always help get me back to sleep but it does at least mean I'm still getting the relaxation time in.

I am experiencing this too from about 29 weeks.

I'm now 31 weeks and wake up every 2 hours for an hour each time.

So far havent woken up needing the loo through the night which surprised me as I need it constantly during the day. I just wake up for no apparent reason and then baby thinks I'm going eat and starts kicking me in excitement haha
