Do I really need a 28 week midwife appointment?

On Monday I went for my anti d injection at st Mary's but went a day too early 🙄 (pregnancy brain) and I missed my 28 week midwife appointment that morning as I'd got them the wrong way round. I rang midwives and apologised, they said they didn't have the diary but would call me by the end of Tuesday. No one has called me but I'm just wondering if it's necessary to have it anyway? I'm under a consultant at the hospital so I've already had 10 scans, I'm under the mavis clinic at st Mary's too and have a 2nd growth scan booked for 3rd of April, my last scan was 6th of March, blood pressure was checked at my anti d and I then have scans on the 16th of April and the 15th of May so the 28 week one seems a bit overkill, especially when I can avoid going to a clinic etc, what would you do?

Where I live they take your blood again at the 28 week appointment to have it banked in case of emergency so it can be matched, and also screen it again - have you had that done and if not do you think you could get it done at one of your other appointments?
