Help! Could I be pregnant..?

Hi everyone

I'm 12 days late but I have had an irregular-ish cycle since having the implant in 2017 - however, I've been having cramps, back pain, nausea, hot flushes, I'm gassy, my skin has erupted, dry, chapped lips - to the point that they're painful and tearing, I need the loo much more than normal and I have pains in my hips and thighs.

I'm awaiting pregnancy tests in my shopping delivery tomorrow to know for certain but I'm petrified of the result.

Do you think I could be pregnant or could it be something else?

Oh and I'm also struggling to sleep even-though I feel exhausted and then when I do doze off the dreams I'm having are so crazy and seem so real..

I took a test just now and there's a very faint positive.. I think - I'm not sure tbh; my shopping just arrived with them so I took it straight away; I'll try again tomorrow morning I guess.?

Do you think I could be pregnant or could it be something else?

If you've had unprotected sex then yes you could be pregnant and if your test has a second line then you are pregnant

it’s positive and obviously you know that, what are you wanting us to say? If you don’t believe the result then test again lmao why are you asking us if you’re PG if you’ve got a positive test 😂

Because it could be a faulty test or something else.
As I said the test was very very very faint.

Like what else? Yeah it could be a faulty test but it’s highly unlikely and how would we know if it’s faulty? It up to you to test again, there’s nothing anyone can say/do/predict on MN about your test

Did your test come as a double pack? When I fell pregnant I took one it was faint so did another first thing in the morning and it was much clearer 😁 but all your symptoms sound like a bun in the oven! Hope that's good news!

@marymariemaria is there any need for this kind of response? Just read and move on, in future.

We don't know if a positive will be a happy or sad occasion for this woman so either give advice or leave it.

I would do another test in the morning OP but a faint positive is likely to be a pregnancy.

I've always been told that false negatives are very common but false positives are incredibly rare. I have never had a positive pregnancy test and not been pregnant, except for once when I was half way through a miscarriage
