3rd baby, no linea nigra?

I'm coming up to 27 weeks and my husband asked when I'll get 'that line thing' as I haven't yet. Not even a hint of one.
I definitely had it with my first two so checked old pregnancy pics and with both I had it by the gestation I am now.

I know some women don't get one at all but to have had it in the past and not this time is strange isn't it?
Not that I'm complaining, I never liked the look of it but find it odd it hasn't appeared already.
Anyone else had the same?

It’s a hormonal thing isn’t it, I haven’t had it at all

I've had two children, never got it.

34 weeks here, don't have it yet

I have no idea if it's hormonal. I thought it was pigmentation and due to skin tone?
I'm quite sallow in complexion but go very dark when I tan with lots of body freckles (very dark nipples at the moment!) but no line this time!
Maybe it'll appear later. I will say though this pregnancy is completely different in lots of ways. Third time round and I finally have the lovely glow, thick glossy hair and clear skin whereas I looked like Miss Trunchbull in my previous two.

i had it with both of mine and im really pale

I'm sallow skinned, go dark easily in the summer but didn't have one with either of my pregnancies.

I never had one, not even a hint in either pregnancy. My belly button didn't 'pop out' either (TMI)

I’m pretty pale and got it with DC1 (a girl) but not with DC2 (boy).

I thought it was v weird, especially as there was only an eight month gap between pregnancies.
