Miscarriage, I’m certain

Hi there,
I am 6w1d pregnant. Started bleeding brown, grainy blood 4 days ago with no cramps. 2 days ago I woke up at midnight to have a wee and a lot of red blood came out and covered the tissue. I also had pain at this point. Called the emergency room and was advised to take painkillers. This helped although the next morning more blood came out. I called again but was advised that because of Coronavirus, they weren’t allowed to see me unless the blood covered a pad every hour and the pain was too bad to handle.
I’m at a point now that I’m experiencing heavy period pains and painkillers have numbed it, but not totally. The blood is coming out like a normal period but it’s not as heavy as the hospital would need it to be. I don’t bleed much on a normal period. I’ve now come to terms that I have lost this baby, it doesn’t seem normal at all but do I just wait this out? Has anyone had this same experience where it’s not severe enough to go see anyone? My worry is that it is ectopic as the pain is mostly one-sides and it could burst. I feel quite helpless.
If anyone could advise or let me know if they had a similar experience, I’d much appreciate it.
I’ve not had a scan and no booking appointment yet, that is on 31 March. They are not able to change the date to earlier as I don’t think a scan would show much now?

Thanks, Tash

Oh how terrible at this time for you. Best advice I would give you is to get a pregnancy test and just keep testing if the hospital won't see you. I had a miscarriage last year and was in terrible pain but then I baked with my first daughter and she's now 6. I really feel for you as it's a hopeless time at the moment just get some tests and stay positive. I wish you well x

I had an early miscarriage in January. I had bleeding like you (like a heavy period) along with period like cramps. This went on for about a week. Once the bleeding stopped, I stopped testing positive on a pregnancy test. That was when I knew my body had passed everything.

If continue to experience really bad pain please go see your doctor if the hospital won't take you.

I'm so sorry this is happening to you. It's so disheartening and sad. Don't give up hope though. I ovulated 2 weeks later and now I'm 7 weeks pregnant.

Thank you both so much for your messages. It does really help. I called my surgery at first but they referred me to pregnancy unit at the hospital, then they said they couldn’t see me. Just been passed from one to another. I just wanted some confirmation from people and it’s really helped. Thank you for your advice. I will do another test in a few days or when the bleeding has stopped. Xx
