How many weeks were you when you had '20 week' anomaly scan?

I have my anomaly scan booked for tomorrow, when I will be 19+3 going by 12 week scan dates. Is there any issue with it being before 20 weeks?

Given current Covid-19 situation, I'd rather have the scan sooner rather than later but just had a niggle that maybe it's too early?

My BMI is normal - which apparently makes it easier to see - but will baby's development be sufficient at 19+3 to tell if there are any potential issues?

Would be great to hear when others had their scan!

It’s normally done between 18 and 21 weeks, so at 19+3 you’ll be absolutely fine to have the scan. Info here: www.nhs.uk/conditions/pregnancy-and-baby/20-week-scan/

I had one at 20 weeks exactly and then. My other 2 were at 19 )rescan after 21 due to baby being a pain and not moving to a position they could see heart) and 22 weeks

You'll be fine

Thanks so much everyone! General anxiety spilling over I think - but nice to be so easily reassured on this one :)
