Hello! I understand folic acid should be taken before pregnancy and during. But is there anything else anyone would recommend so I'm in the healthiest trying to conceive? 💗

You can take a general multivamin which includes folic acid (such as Pregnacare pre natal vitamins). These are specially formulated for pregnancy and have heard good things about them. They do a version for men as well. Other than that try to make sure your bmi is within the healthy range and drink lots of water etc.

I will add though that I would recommend holding off a couple of mi the whole this virus panic is going on. Not many appointments are going ahead properly, hard to buy supplies for a baby, it’s hard to get in to see a GP, the scans are not allowed partners in etc, we’ve been advice to distance ourself from everyone and everything for 12 weeks...it’s incredibly stressful being pregnant at this time!

Oh yes I know, the world is mad at the minute. It would be in about 5-6 months anyway. I was just doing a bit of research to take up my morning and thought I'd ask.
Thank you for your reply

@UhNUVeWVBeEhia8 I took the Pregnacare Conception tablets prior to conceiving - can't guarantee it helped but I'm 38 weeks pregnant now so I'll go with the opinion that it did! 😊

@UhNUVeWVBeEhia8 Sorry should have added, my husband also took the men's version as well x
