My body temperature is 37.5° - what is your temperature?

Hi all. My body temperature has always been anywhere between 37.3° and 37.7°, now i am pregnant my temperature is staying in the same range. Whereas my DH temperature always has ranged between 35.8° and 36.2°.
I always thought that unde 38° is normal but now with Covid 19, they consider you have a fever at 37.8°.
Does this mean that my baby is at risk as i always have a high temperature? I am quite worried. Why is my temperature so high? (No wonder i feel always cold)
What is everyone else temperature?

Can’t answer all your questions, but generally in pregnancy I think women have a higher body temperature. I don’t think this places your baby at any additional risk. Your temperature is the same as it always has been, so you don’t have a fever.
If you are still worried, speak to your midwife.
Remember, they don’t have any evidence covid affects pregnant women more badly, they are being cautious.

Mine has been 37.7 consistently , keeping an eye on it xx

Now you know your baseline temperature so if it goes up THEN you’d have a temperature. But in your range of normal then you’re perfectly fine and your baby is safe.

My normal temperature is 36.6 but since last night it's been sitting at 38 degrees despite taking paracetamol. I've been told to self isolate

Mine is varying between 37.4 and 38.2. I'm in self isolation too as my youngest has a slight cough and cold but I'm keeping an eye on it which I think is probably sensible for any pregnant woman at the moment if you can? 🤷‍♀️ x

I don’t know what mine is on a day to day basis, never taken it as an adult! It’s been fluctuating between 35.5 and 37.8. Mainly towards the lower end! 🤷‍♀️

oral,ear,forehead ..and internal will all have slightly different readings
