when does morning sickness start?

When I first found out I was pregnant, I was happy but so ill I felt awful. Now I'm fine!!! It only lasted about 3 days! I've got no period so it all looks good too... does any1 know when my morning sickness will start? It's my first baby and I don't know what to expect. I'm 5 weeks. xx

I think ms usually starts around 8 weeks but don't quote me on it as i didn't suffer with either pregnancy!

i had no sickness with first, it came before i missed af with second and it was around 6 weeks with the third and lasted ages.

First time round I had no morning sickness, but this time had general continual nausea from about 8-15 weeks.

I'm 28 weeks with my first and had nausea from 8 weeks until about 12.

Yep, i can confirm that having no MS can happen! With my first I was sick on Fridays.. then I figured out why, it was when I was cleaning and the smell got to me (my DH thinks it was an excuse!!)

This time around I am sick, sick, sick and 21 weeks. My poor 4 yr old has got used to me puking at the most embarrassing times

Hi Hayley and congratulations. This is my first too and my ms started at 6 weeks (I'm 8 weeks now). Don't worry if you don't get any, just be grateful and enjoy your pregnancy. Not everyone gets ms and it's quite normal and healthy not to.

Hi Hayley. I am 5wks too and started to feel bad yesterday, nauseous and headaches. Had to cut the food shopping short! Hope it doesnt go on too long.....

with DD1 i didn't feel ill until 11 weeks... but it didn't stop til after 20 weeks!

DD2 i started to feel ill before i found out i was pg, about 3 weeks in, and still didn't stop til after 20 weeks.
