Cramps in early pregnancy? Very worried!

Hi everyone, I am 6 weeks and 2 days today.
I have been experiencing awful cramps (similar to really bad period pains) around 4-5 times a day, sometimes waking me up in the night.
The pain is low in my adbomen and is central (so not ovaries) and seems to radiate out to my hips. The only way to make these go away is to rock or wait it out, they typically last a few minutes. Sometimes they stop if I go for a poo (sorry tmi)Blush
I am having no bleeding or other pains anywhere else.
I have an appointment tomorrow at EPU anyway as a week ago I noticed my pregnancy symptoms (mostly my sore boobs) had disappeared so I should know for sure tomorrow if everything is okay.
I am just wondering if anyone else has experienced this, whether this is 'growing pains' or constipation or what?

P.s I had a miscarriage in December 2019 (first pregnancy) so am very worried as I am new to all these pains etc.

Hiya, I’m 6 weeks and 3 days and had the same type of cramping beginning at 5 weeks I also had brown discharge.. I rang EPU and went for a scan Saturday as I was convinced I was having another miscarriage or and ectopic.. anyways found out I was having twins saw both their heartbeats and all seemed well. However they did find a cyst on my ovary and said that the pregnancy hormones can cause them to hurt... There is so many reasons why you might be getting cramping and usually it’s just down to everything stretching and making room for baby or in my case babies! Anyways not long to wait now I’m sure everything will be fine!!

@Han133 aw congratulations on your two miracles! I'm glad to hear that you were experiencing the same kind of thing as me and have since had good news.
I'm also happy to hear you were able to hear babies heartbeats as I was worried that even if everything is okay I might not be able to hear a heartbeat (I think it would reassure me more)
Thank you

Hi, hope you’re doing ok, I’m 9+5 and I have experienced on and off cramping since 4 weeks, nothing massively painful but at times it has for pretty uncomfortable and made me worried. I’ve had 2 scans - one at the EPU at 7+1 and a private one at 9+2 and both showed a wriggly bean with a heartbeat. My back has been more bothersome than tummy cramping and the midwife didn’t seem concerned and said it was normal.

@Prettylittlelady thank you that's gives me hope! They feel like I'm about to come on my period but then move out to my hips, very strange.
I'm hoping all will be well tomorrow.
Are you still having cramps now or have they reduced?

I’m still having cramps - light ones - on and off and they are giving me constant anxiety, I’m now counting down the days until my 12 scan, it’s less than 3 weeks now so I just need to keep positive.
I’ve noticed the cramps tend to be when I’ve stood up for long periods and laying/sitting down relieves them. I’m a teacher and I’ll be off work due to the virus from tomorrow so hopefully the rest will do be good.
Good luck and keep positive, lots of it is just your body adapting to what’s happening x

Good luck to you too @Prettylittlelady
I am having to work from home due to the risk of the virus and me being pregnant, so I will be getting a lot more rest than usual
