Induced!

Hi,

Wondering if anyone has been induced on their due date rather than going overdue due to their babies size?
38 weeks pregnant and had a growth scan at 35 weeks and baby was weighing 6lbs 9 and said baby was on the higher side of average.
I'm now thinking, if I say go 2 weeks over it's more time for my baby to get heavy (I've been told baby is a big baby)
Has anyone been in a similar situation and allowed to go overdue or been induced on their due date or a few days after?
My next midwife apt isn't until 5 days before my due date so I won't really be able to ask her until then.

My step sister was induced at 38 weeks due to the size of her baby. Ended up with a section but that was only after the induction didn’t work and baby got distressed.
Surely you can call your midwife to discuss it with her, you shouldn’t need to wait until you see her.
