I’m just curious to know what others diets are like as my eating habits feel so out of whack. I’m only
7 weeks and I already don’t really
Like anything I used to and have morning sickness all day.
Today I had -
Toast with honey
Cup of decaf tea
A sugar ring doughnut x2 😐
A mini twister ice cream
An apple
Corned beef and brown sauce baguette

I normally eat quite well but just don’t like anything and I feel really bad and that I’m not getting enough nutrients. I do take a pregnancy multivitamin but feel it’s not enough. Tbh today is the most I’ve ate the past week. I seem to just like corned beef sandwiches apples and ice creams right now

I am eating so badly. SO MANY CRISPS. Pasta. Sandwiches. Just loads of carbs and beige and sugar.

Similarly it’s so different from my usual diet but I can’t really face cooking or preparing food at the moment.

I think we have to not beat ourselves up to much and just get through this and hopefully as things progress will go back to normal a bit. I’m nearly 10 weeks now had a couple of days where I felt better last week but been rough all weekend. I ate a sausage roll for breakfast and I am usually vegan!!! I haven’t had meat for years!

Hope you feel better soon x

My daily diet (6 nearly 7 weeks) consist of 2 breakfasts - peanut butter on toast/or hot cross bun and then cereal when I get to work, lots of snacks throughout the day - snack a jacks, Kit Kat’s, fibre ones and for lunch a roll or a baguette/pasta salad and by the time it gets to dinner time I can only really stomach smaller meals.

I’m really struggling because some days I’m eating way over what I would normally eat and worried about weight gain but the nausea is so bad I need to keep eating to keep that at bay!

Hoping it slows down soon!

I’m totally with you on not having been as healthy as usual! I’m 10+2 now and not as bad as I was earlier on, when I had to constantly snack to not feel nauseous (now it’s just in the mornings), but still mainly just wanting carbs, cheese, oranges and chocolate! Today has been:

Pre-breakfast: Four crackers
Breakfast: Sausage naan and beans with an orange juice and a mint tea (went out for breakfast, I’m not that fancy at home 😂)
Snacks: Three pieces of chocolate, white chocolate cookie, a peach
Lunch: Half a cheese salad sandwich (only because I had lunch quite late, otherwise it would have been a full one), an orange juice and a green tea
Snack: Some dry roasted nuts
Dinner will be a lamb stew, veg and cous cous, will probably have another cookie or some ice cream afterwards too.

So not as bad as I was a couple of weeks ago but still a distinct lack of veg, which I’m trying to just add in as I can 🤷🏻‍♀️

I soooo needed to read this today, I'm still struggling with food and nausea. Garlic is really setting me off.

Today I've had
Frosted flakes
Two toast and Marmite
Decaff tea
Sausage sandwich
Biscuits
Babybell
For tea I'm making a roast chicken (to keep dh happy) but struggling to think about eating it

I'm trying not to best myself up about it but worried also about the nutritional content of what I can manage to eat at the moment

@Littlebb2020 never knew I needed a corn beef and brown sauce baguette until I read your post Grin

Littlebb2020 · 15/03/2020 19:55

@Indigogirl88 I love snacking on apples and babybel right now, before pregnancy I didn’t really eat baby else but picked them up whilst shopping because I thought it’s a healthier snack than chocolate.
I feel a bit more normal now reading everyone’s posts 😂. I thought it was just me that was being weird, I feel so different and it is a first pregnancy I really had no clue it affects us this much! I literally feel ill all day I’ve had a nap today and still
Feel tired, my poor dh has done all the cleaning and cooking all day as I’ve let it slide this week.

ruby8719 It’s all I’ve really fancied the past week! Spread of bertolli on it too 😋

I hope this goes eventually as I don’t even like the taste of water or anything to drink right now!
