Hi everyone
So after a sweep last week (that didnt bring on labour, but im hoping its nudged things on a bit), my midwife told me that my cervix was soft, and moving towards a central position, with the external Os open to 1cm but the internal Os closed. She could get her finger in to feel the closed internal Os.
So my question is, if she's had a good sweep around up to the closed internal Os, where exactly is my mucous plug? Surely she would have dislodged it? Or am I wildly wrong in my anatomy and knowledge of where cervical plugs are?
