Joint pain in fingers third trimester

Hello,

I am 30 weeks pregnant and for the last 3 days I've had pain and stiffness in the base of the fingers on my right hand. Strangely my left hand seems unaffected.

I cant think of anything ive done to hurt my hand and I'm just wondering if this is a normal third trimester complaint or water retention. Theres very slight swelling on both hands but I can get my rings off still.

My right arm also aches when I drive which is odd.

Sounds like Carpal Tunnel Syndrome, you should be able to get splints from a physio.

I have this, developed late in 3rd Tri, and it’s Carpal Tunnel.
