How soon after show did labour start?

I'm 38 weeks + 3 with my second child! Had period like pains for a few days and this morning woke up to what I think might be my show?? It started really dark blood then it's since been mixed in with discharge. Not had any contractions yet.

Just curious was it days or weeks after a show?!

Also following. 37 weeks. Had a show on Wednesday and continued for a few days. A bit of cramping and bad back ache but nothing else.

Mine was on the Monday had baby on the Wednesday but everyone is different also make sure u phone assessment unit incase they want to check u

I had the bloody show in the morning and contractions started at 8pm but was only 1cm dilated 2 days later after none stop pains that weren't ever close enough together for the hospital to take me in. I ended being Induced due to a bleed but It was a blessing in disguise as I dont know how long I'd have been left in pain for! Waters were still intact but bulging too

I had a bloody show mid afternoon and had ds at 1.30 am that night.
