New pram from Baby Planet UK

Just received my pram yesterday, the Mamas & Papas Ocarro in dark navy. Got it for a steal as the colour is old season. However when I took it out the box to set it up/inspect it I realised the seat unit is damaged in a part that means I now can't get it off the chassis. Also noticed a tiny dent on the chassis plastic and the carrycot base was scuffed where it had been setup before and also a bit of thread coming loose on the foot cover. My partner is annoyed about the seat unit and the fact we will have to arrange a return but says I'm being picky about the rest. Would this bother anyone else? I'm not sure whether to order another and hope that this one is fine. Anyone had a similar issue?

I would want a new one I wouldnt want things with scratches etc it's not like prams are that cheap to begin with I have ordered from baby planet at the baby shows lots of times and am sure they would be happy for you to return and get a new one am due to receive mine on thur from them as well cant wait x

I would probably want a new one.

We bought a pram from baby planet about 2 years ago and it broken after nearly a year of constant use. It was very well used but within warranty and we had no issues with getting a replacement.

How disappointing for you! Get it sent back ASAP. I think I'd be wary about getting another one after that but see what their customer service is like if you think they are reliable enough.

Yeah it's definitely a bit disappointing but if I can get an easy return and exchange then I think I'll do it since I do love the colour and it's the only site that has it. If there's any defects on the next one I'll go elsewhere but probably gonna have to go with a different colour. I think the colour choices for prams are quite rubbish though, so many greys and blacks.

Just seen this and would appreciate an update on what you did about it.

Ordered from baby planet online as part of a deal from the online baby show and my Icandy peach that was over £1000 has arrived scratched, faulty and unusable. I am going to ask them to collect and refund and will purchase from John Lewis instead at full price.

Fuming that they think this is acceptable.

Hi @Twobecomingthreeplusthedog - I had a similar issue with baby planet and they collected the item within a week and sent me a replacement. Give them a call!
