Pregnancy scare advice

Hi everyone.

I’ve missed my period, was meant to come on on the 5th, so I’m 8 days late and it’ll be 4 weeks on Saturday me and my boyfriend had sex.
I haven’t had no common pregnancy symptoms, I’m all new to this, so I’m not sure when symptoms are suppose to start, I’ve done research, but all sites are saying different things. I’ve had a sick feeling in my stomach for a few weeks now, been gassy, I’ve had two blood spotting, before I was meant to come on, and during the week I was suppose to be on(which made me think I was about to come on my period), tiredness, headaches and lower back ache.

I haven’t taken tests, just because I want to do it at the doctors so I can ask questions if I’m not pregnant. Doing this next Wednesday as I had to reregister with a GP.

Has anyone else gone through a similar situation as this?

I'd buy a supermarket brand test, you're only 8 days late with your period but you've booked a doctor to do a test? Considering how stretched the nhs is getting with the current pandemic I would strongly suggest home testing. X

GPs don’t tend to do tests anymore as home tests are so sensitive. I’d do a pregnancy test and then see the GP if you feel you need to.
