Hey, hoping someone has some words of wisdom/experience.
I went for a scan today and measuring 13+1.
In 2015 I had a LLETZ for CIN3. That same year I had a surgical termination and as it was incomplete a D&C (traumatic).
Anyway, baby looks great but they decided to also do a transvaginal scan to measure my cervix - I think I heard the sonographer say 2.4 but I saw her type 1.7 (mm?) - I’m not sure what that means, but obviously my cervix is measuring super short as the consultant has decided to book me in for a cerclage Monday morning at 8am (in a hospital that is under lockdown due to the cases of Covid-19).
So anxious. Has anyone been through similar and can offer advice or even just tell me about their experience?
In 2008 (at almost 21) I had my DD at 40+10 and it was such a straightforward pregnancy - so different this time around.
Thank you x
