Hi girls just seeing if anyone else has problems with this I'm nearly 9 weeks and about an hour after I eat anything my tummy starts cramping and I end up having the runs.... Doesn't matter what it is or how much but its happening all the time now and making me feel even more sick and tired.
I have IBS and its not that it's more just like tummy upset, any ideas to help settle it?? Don't want to waste a drs time with it

Thanks xx

Hi, I had this for the first 9 weeks or so. Mostly in the morning but also throughout the day. My midwife said it was normal.

Hi OP

Are you taking any pregnancy vitamins? Pregnacare Max for example? That was basically a laxative for me!

Also I had the CONSTANT runs all throughout my first trimester! I called it my ‘own version of morning sickness’.

It sucks but provided you can still keep some food in and are getting enough nutrients it’s totally fine x

Yh I take pregnecare and 5mg folic acid and yh mine is like my morning sickness but other end x

Possibly your vitamins making it worse! I spoke to the pharmacist in boots and literally just took the boots own brand vit D and my regular folic acid.

They said the additional stuff in pregnacare is ‘nice but not necessary’
