Uterine doppler scan???

So after my scan I agreed to this for there training purpose just after 20 weeks..... Anyone had this done before??

Yes, they literally just check the pressure of the blood flowing and then compare it to a centile chart. It’s being used here for anyone who had IUGR previously to try and predict if it will happen again

Yes, I had this at 20 weeks. It checks bloodflow around the uterus. Mine apparantly was abnormal. They said it was nothing to worry about, but could indicate a very slight increased risk of pre eclampsia or low birth weight baby. ( I am low risk - first pregnancy) So this meant I needed extra monitoring so had an extra scan at 28 and 36 weeks. Everything has been perfectly fine since and I welcomed the extra scans for peace of mind. Im now 37 weeks, baby is right on the average for size and everything is perfectly fine.
So if you do get abnormal Doppler readings, don't worry!
