Weight gain

I've gained exactly a stone at 19 weeks. I've been eating relatively healthy, just crappy food
(biscuits, cake) on top of that.
I had an overweight BMI to start with. Feeling really rubbish (even though it's my own fault!) Scared it's going to be about 5 stone by the time I'm done!!
Just wondering if anyone else is similar?!

I was 10 stone when I fell pregnant and now teetering on 12 stone, the last stone of that has appeared from nowhere this past week. I'm 27 weeks pregnant it's really depressing me too, in my first pregnancy I barely gained any weight went from a size 8-10 to accommodate my bump but that was it really, no stretch marks anything.

Have been freaking out a bit because it's expected to ramp up from here. Complete pain in the neck isn't it! All I can say is try and eat healthy and don't be too hard on yourself, it's your body trying to accommodate baby. Easier said than done, I know! Sorry I can't offer more help didn't want to read and run :)

I had gained a stone by 13/14 weeks, now 27 weeks and I've gained just over 2 stone. Some days I feel awful about it and scared about how much I'll gain overall, but like pp said it's your body accommodating for growing a human being. As long as you're keeping as active as possible and getting the right nutrients try not to worry too much, your midwife should say if she feels your weight gain is a concern Smile

Ditto. for the past few days i've been feeling less sick and have made more soups and smoothies. the fatigue in the first trimester is so intense i couldn't move, but now going for walks every day. even after a few days i feel bit back to normal and trying not to buy the crap.

Stone here on at 16 weeks! Put on so much weight my last pregnancy (5 stone) that I cannot do that again so trying to eat healthy but weight is going on regardless! Going to try to focus on doing more walking over next few weeks!
