Sense of smell out of control!

I'm 13 weeks today, still suffering with nausea all day and due to my sense of smell going crazy, I can't get in my kitchen without retching.

With all the coronavirus stuff going on, we're being asked to work from home more often which is not helping.

Anyone had the same troubles or found ways to get round it? Hubby is being very good with cooking but often doesn't get in til late by which point the nausea has got worse from not eating for a while!

When I was pregnant with my first child, I basically only ate chicken salad wraps as I couldn't stand the smell of cooking! I almost threw up when I was served spaghetti bolognese with parmesan!

When I was pregnant the smell of a particular brand of toilet paper (unscented) made me heave. I didn't even know it had a smell until then!

I remember being unable to sleep because I could smell a rose scented candle that was in my bedroom. The smell was incredibly overpowering despite the candle being unlit and in a closed tin! I had to take it downstairs and leave it in the garden lol

Hey I feel your pain I have a suuuuuper human sense of smell at the moment too!! One thing I would say is eat little and often and don’t wait to eat that makes it worse.

Try things like rice cakes/ cracker breads.
