Can't eat hot food

I'm about 7 weeks pregnant and I was fine with eating hot foods up until about a week ago, now I can't stomach them, they make me unbelievably nauseous so I've been sticking to cold foods.

Can anyone give any cold meal tips? I seem to be living on pasta and sandwiches at the moment!

I was exactly the same. I couldn’t stomach hot food for weeks. I suggest you can cook things and eat them cold. Sounds odd but I lived off jacket potato’s with butter (once they were cold and I could eat them slowly).

Also lots of crackers, nuts and cheese helped. Hope you feel better soon

I'm 20 weeks and went through phases like that.
I ate quiche with salad and coleslaw/potato salad.
Sandwiches
Cold pasta tubs
Chicken salad

My advice though would be to not buy too much in advance because you can go off foods so quickly in the early days.

I hear you, I lived off salad for weeks. I’m making up for it now I’m 23 weeks pregnant! When I only ate cold food I ate a lot of halloumi salad and mozzarella salad x

Oh yeah lots of cheddar and celery as a snack, I found this helped the queasiness

I basically lived on beige foods initially as any hot foods that had much flavour/smell to them make me Bork. It's coming back now and I'm pretty much back to normal now, as PP said try not to buy too much in advance as you can go off things very quickly!
