Hi all

I ended up at the EPU this morning as I had some light bleeding. Of course, my mind went to the worst place and I was fully prepared for bad news.

I'm currently about 6 weeks 3 days - we saw a little tiny baby, measuring 5mm, with a heart beat

Yes - I did.
I bled at 5 weeks then relatively regularly until around 20 weeks. The baby was absolutely fine and is now a very boisterous, noisy 5 year old.
They didn't realise it was a subchorionic haematoma until 11 weeks.

I was told to take things easy - no lifting, pushing/pulling ( cases, shopping trolley etc) The bleeding was scary at times but I was told it's quite common.

I had a very small one measuring about 1cm x 3 cm t 8 weeks which resulted in orange discharge but no actual bleeding. It had cleared up kn it's own by the next scan.

@rachelrainbow In August I had brown discharge type bleeding from 6 weeks it got worse and at 7w 3d I was getting occasional pink bloody mucus only when I wiped, I rang the hospital and they told MW (midwife) to come straight in, they gave me a scan baby was fine but for ages they couldnt figure out what it was. The night of the scan I bleed so badly bright red gushing proper blood I cried so much I was convinced that was it, as I had, had a MMC in April, I rang the hospital they had me come back in on the friday the first scan they did was on a Wednesday all was still fine, after more bleeding and more scares and more scans they found out I had a sub chronic hematoma and any pressure was causing the bleeding even just going to the toilet was enough pressure to start it lightly and the scan made it really bad, it finally stopped just after 15 weeks, after my 14 weeks scan set it off again and gave me another emergency trip to the hospital. So I had bleeding in varying degrees from 6 to 15 weeks, I'm now 37w 3d and Im booked in for a c-section on the 25th as baby is long lie breech and refusing to move, I have a little heas stucking out my left sidewhich is very easy to feel and 2 little foot attacking my right side. I hope you have a good result. My symptoms were coming and going but the nurse put that down to me stressing out over the bleeding. Thinking of you its hard to not get to worried then everyone tells u to calm down.
