Sweep today Does it work ?

Hi everyone
I had a sweep today at 10am and I have had quite a bit of blood since and a lot of pressure down below and in my bum also. I get the odd pain in my back but i just feel sore and a lot of pressure... she said the baby is very low and could feel his head and I am 2-3 cm dilated.. but I am just so uncomfortable and want him out what is the likelihood of the sweep working? I know everyone is different

Ah hope things kick off soon, I had a sweep on my due date and was also 2-3cm, could stretch to 4cm, waters bulging, had a bloody show, but no pain or pressure like you, DD arrived five days later, very quick labour though. Yours sounds more promising :)
