27 weeks and barely showing

Hi Everyone im 27+2 and i barely look pregnant, i just look fat. I can tell im getting bigger and sometimes look bigger than others.

Anyone else in the same boat? When did you start showing properly?

I know everyone is different its just getting me down when people say i dont look pregnant, i want a bump!

I am 27 weeks a have a bump if I wear something fitted. However in something baggy I just look huge. People at work have said only last week that they didn’t realise I was pregnant.

I think it is a lot to do with your build (I’m a size 14–16) so a baby bump isn’t immediately apparent. I am also quite tall and have a long torso. It’s also to do with what you wear. In something floaty I can almost pass as not pregnant.

I'm a size 10 and didn't barely get a bump at all. I didn't mind at all really but everyone was always shocked. Especially the midwife when I was in labour

I'm tall and didn't really start showing until 30ish weeks, and then only if I wore something fitted. I think being tall and broader baby had more space in my abdomen so didn't show as much as more petite women. I purposely wore lots of tights clothes in the end so people didn't think I was fat

I'm not in the same boat - started showing at 12 weeks, currently 16 and looking bigger than @20viona!

However, I know several women who didn't look pregnant at all. They might have hidden their pregnancies until they gave birth without a problem! Then there was that one petite friend who looked perfectly slim with a very round small bump that popped out like she's having a small ball under her shirt - the rest of her body didn't look pregnant in any way. Then a few friends and relatives who just got super wide everywhere even though the bump itself wasn't that big.

It's quite crazy how different it is for all of us.

I'm 25 weeks with my 3rd and look ready to pop. Didnt show at all until about 20 weeks then woke up 1 morning with a huge bump lol. When I say I'm only 25 weeks people look shocked and tell me I'm I'm going to have an enormous baby. X
