Woke up early with aches and pains at the top and bottom of my stomach, didnt sleep well at all. felt sick this morning.

Hurts to sit up straight and to sit to far forward - what could this be, has anyone else experienced anything similar?

I had this during my second pregnancy as ds2 who was quite large and long.
I felt like i had swallowed a plank of wood or something. Is it similar to that?

Could it be braxton hicks?

I never had braxton hicks. But my first contraction was like a ripping pain right across the front of my bump. Then from there on was coming and going but the first was the worst.

It sounds to me like the baby has just changed position, but when in doubt you should always get it checked out! I would try to stay off my feet and lay on my side with a pillow between my knees and see if it settles down.
