Just found out I’m pregnant - what next?

Hello! New here, so just wanted to get some advice/clear up some anxieties. Husband and I decided to try for a baby, and I’m now 11 DPO with a positive digital early detection test and 2 faint but positive dye tests. This is our first month TTC, never been on chemical BC, so I think we’re very very lucky to have seemingly got it first try. AF is due in 2/3 days, so I’m just wondering, how likely is it that it’ll ‘stick’, what are the odds of losing it within the next couple of weeks, and what can I do to increase our chances of a successful first trimester? It all just feels to good to be true lol

Thanks much!

Congratulations Flowers, all you do now is sit back and relax xx start taking folic acid and then around 8 weeks book with the midwife, I take meds so needed to go to Dr to sort that out sooner other than that 8 weeks but otherwise.... If like me sit and wonder when symptoms will start then wish they would stop..... Then when they do panic they have!!! The joys of being pregnant xx

Agree with the advice above, start taking folic acid and multivitamins of not already, try to relax and find out the process in your area for referring to a midwife for your booking in appointment (some areas it's a self referral, some it's through GP).
The booking in appt isn't usually until you are 8-10 weeks so it's a slow start at the beginning of pregnancy with not much happening.

Congratulations x
