but i don't know by how much i hate weighing myself as i don't want to focus on that. my clothes are always 12 - 14, but definitely 14 now (although i've been living in leggings and loose tops!). I just need reassurance...lately i've been afraid of losing the baby. yes i have told my midwife and am getting help with the anxiety. i just want to know that, given my clothes size, i am not too too heavy. i have suffered really badly with nausea and all i could eat was toast but i ate a lot of it! recently started taking stemitol and feeling better, eating a bit normally and feel i can keep my weight healthy. just pls tell me am not screwing up and being a bit overweight won't cause me to lose the baby, i'm 18 wks and not feeling very beautiful : (
thanks for reading

Hiya you seem a good weight hun, my midwife wasn't particularly worried and I'm 18stone Blush I've always been big this is a suprise baby number 4 but all of my babies have been healthy it's just me that needs to pull myself together!!

FeelingBeautiful · 09/03/2020 23:53

you're a beautiful earth mama with your 4 beautiful babies! Yeah i bet i'm worrying about nothing. i asked my doc and she didn't even ask me to get on a scale. she just literally looked me up and down and said i was fine! so just need to eat a little healthier now that i can eat vegetables again Smile

Hi OP, I'm about the same size as you (though probably not as fit as I dont do a great deal of exercise!). I'm am now 25+6, my weight has never been mentioned by any midwife, doctor or consultant. They baby is growing at around the 50% at every scan, so no problems. As for not feeling very beautiful, I feel like a beached whale so I cant reassure you in any way on that!

@LH1987 haha yes I feel cumbersome to say the least! I just saw myself in the mirror last night and although the bump is nice and tidy it's definitely being hidden behind a lot of bloat and weeks of lots of toast! My baby is growing well too so probably nothing to worry about. thank you for that
